Concept Food Celebraganza!
Everyone loves a potluck, but three days worth of pasta salad leftovers can turn the stomach of even the hungriest host. Turn your potluck into a “notluck” by imposing this one simple rule: Every food item must be a brand new, never before experienced, CONCEPT food.
Tell your guests to bring their creations straight from the laboratory to the dinner table. Hot dog salad, deep fried pickles, cheese stuffed bananas; there are no limits with concept foods. Give extra kudos to the creator of any food item which actively flees your fork. “It's alive!” they'll scream, and so is your party!
The fun doesn't end with the main course. Concept drinks open a whole new realm to the culinary explorer. Don't be scared to test the boundary between solid and liquid. Who says a drink must fit through a straw? We're not ant-eaters – live a little!

Hints and tips:
*Asking your guests to provide recipes may be helpful for any diners with allergies or serious aversions to certain foods. It takes a bit of the fun out of it, but helps to maintain a safe and healthy party atmosphere.
*Providing interesting dinnerware and twirly straws can help to put the extra tang in your party sauce. Or consider an innovate new food delivery system? That particular area of human knowledge has been disappointingly stagnant since the invention of the fork.
*A small percentage of guests may not have a taste for adventure. Consider putting out a plate of dry toast for those who are not up for the challenge.
Now venture forth brave gourmand! May your cutlery never dull nor your appetite wane.
